is there anyway that we could use our ASF login to log onto the property forum

Sorry, missed this post.

No, the two sites use separate databases so those wanting to post at Aussie Property Forums will have to register over there. Registration only takes a minute though.

It all takes time to gather members at APF. But you need to 1) Close off property discussions on ASF. 2) Have an easy link (eg from Forum Jump) across to the APF site. You need many of your existing members over there to get it going. It will be harder to get going otherwise. I would not be suprised if members drop off this forum (ASF) as easy money can not be made in the same way with stocks and perhaps property as well.

Which brings me to this other alternative. To have, simply, a property section in ASF under Forum Jump not under General Chat, but ASF would not be the best name for a combined forum, but, don't change the name. Stays as ASF with a property section. May keep numbers up at ASF.

Ofcoarse you can disagree. Just my thoughts.

Just the same as any other business , expanding to meet the needs of prospective NEW customers . new advertisement , new readers , new sponsors ,

Joe, does this mean there will no longer be any property discussion on this forum? I'm not sufficiently interested in property to go to a separate forum but quite value being able to flick onto a property thread on this forum.

I don't invest in properties so no use to me the only property I own is my home and I upgrade them as money flow in from the stock market returns.

I like the layout & colours better than ASF, easier to read for me. Could we have the Display Modes options on ASF as well?

please use the aussie property forum for housing chat

its a related site....soley for property....set out state by state etc....its new since Oct 08....so why not come over there...instead of being stuck on the only 2 threads on this site.....do your bit and use the site....make it the best and only forum for property discussion.....
