  • Augustus Minerals (ASX:AUG) wraps up drilling at its Ti-Tree project in Western Australia
  • While Ti-Tree is prospective for lithium, today’s news relates to copper-gold
  • The company spotted minerals often coincident with copper and gold in quartz but did not mention visually identifying target minerals
  • Assays are due back in the coming weeks ahead of fresh Q1 CY24 drilling

Augustus Minerals Ltd (ASX:AUG) – which is looking for critical minerals and base metals in Western Australia – has identified potential for higher grade copper and molybdenum zones at its Minnie Springs project in the state’s Gasgoyne region.

SensOre consultants have applied artificial intelligence, machine learning and other processing techniques using both public and proprietary datasets over the Music Well Project.
• Cutting edge AI/ML algorithms targeting areas with minimal outcrop or under
cover.
• Integration of geological, geochemical and geophysical data sets into the AI process to define digital mineralisation fingerprints and generate AI-enhanced gold discovery predictions.
• The AI SensOre study concluded that “Application of ML algorithms were found to model +1m oz Au potential with a high degree of predictability, and a total of 18
targets were identified within the Music Well project

I don't know why, but the project and the tech reminded me of a bad joke;
Passing the musicians' cemetery, I heard the 9th Symphony coming out of the ground, backwards.
"What's that?," I asked.
My friend replied, "It's just Beethoven decomposing. "

Announcement Clarification

Augustus Minerals Limited (the Company) refers to the announcement dated 18 February 2025 titled “AI Defines 18 New Gold Targets at Music Well” .

Page 6 of the Announcement refers to quantities of potential gold based on the application of machine learning algorithms. Although the SensOre study concluded with a high degree of predictability, there has been insufficient exploration to estimate a mineral resource, and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a mineral resource.

The Company wishes to retract references in the Gold Potential and informs investors not to rely on that information as a basis for any investment decision in relation to the Company’s shares..

rookies. whoops. my bad (joke)
