Extremely glad that I didn't sell my BHP, it's climbing up n away... sold WHC instead with regrets now...no choice...needing the money.

I'm still holding a couple of buys with PLS just sitting and waiting at the station, watch the trains go by. Must a no stops these trains .

Now awaiting the sale of ZIP and BRN, just need the bus to stop at a couple of stops further up the road. LIT is being very selective and just won't drop to my enter point.

Not a holder of BRN, ZIP n LIT. Still interested on BRN but the later 2...dropped them like hot potatoes.

Not sure why aforementioned post is now in ASX Trading...
Anyways, great effort displayed by Australia, eventually going down in a tough tussle against Argentina 2 goals to 1.

Ultimately, the strength of the Argentina defence held on to secure a quarter-final berth against Holland in the Soccer World Cup.

After liquidating my holdings while we bought and sold a new residence, with that process largely sorted I felt the market was telling me that a Santa Rally might be early this year (I think it never eventuated at all last year). Anyway I jumped back trying to buy some solid stocks that weren't speculative and seemed to have room to move higher- ALU, ALX, COL, CSL, CXO, FPH, PLS. Time will tell.
Interestingly the XAO has made a pattern that suggests price could aspire to break 8,000. However, still many economic headwinds around the world so we'll just have to put our faith in Santa.

Ah GN so you put the knockers on PLS today!!!!!!!
 
I must report with great sadness that I missed the PLS train departing. this morning. Thought as usual it would scramble up a bit more, but not so. On the positive picked up a sway of PAB but they too have fizzled a bit.
 
i reduced XRF ( my av. buy price was sub 23 cents ) and exited FMG ( a reasonable profit )

was expecting today to be boring and cautious , looks like i got that wrong

might be time to calculate a ( XJO = ) 7500+ plan in case i need it

Sold the rest of the ZIP holding this morning. Happy as. Got buys in on BRN, ZIP, PLs and a standing buy for TIE. Came close to getting a couple of them today but not close enough. Perhaps tomorrow will be the day

Had a quick buy and sell with PLS good little profit for little effort this morning Placed another buy back in just in case there is a late dip.
Got on board PAB but is in desperate need of a kick to get it moving upwards
