Am surprised to find this ETF not on the forum.
Mentioned to me by @Linus van Pelt and I note it (SP) has been performing well (chart based ibservation only) overall since apparent inception in latter half of 2019.

while it has NOT been a div. powerhouse , i didn't expect it to be medium term either ( more of a 'capital growth ' ETF )

now do you consider it as an Asian version of the US FAANG stocks or a proxy for a weaker US Dollar ( compared to Asian currencies )

i find ETFs useful as 'insurance strategies ' rather than straight up investment vehicles ( but many disagree )

ASIA seems to have peaked about when you posted, @frugal.rock and from that $14 a unit it is now down, down to the $9.30s today
Slightly above the 52 week low,
so I dipped in my toe,
where it goes, I don't know,
I just like to follow the flow...
Perhaps the bottom is in?
With all the geo stuff, I'm not convinced about this...
An entry off the chart, looking like forming a rounded bottom, volume contraction. A wait and see job. Small position, long hold.
Year of the tiger...

A wait and see job. Small position, long hold.
I jumped the gun.
Bottom didn't eventuate.
It happens, sh!

I'm not one for hanging on to a downward runner, despite the long term hold intentions.
Was out when it brokedown past $8.00
With all the geo stuff, I'm not convinced about this...
I even had hesitations, which I chose to ignore.
Chalk that one up to ignorance.

i bought into ASIA in October 2018 @$5.40 and added more in December 2018 @ $5.05 , and reduced in January 2021 @ $12.25

am waiting ( patiently ) to add more near $5

this is much like ( in concept ) to an Asian version of a FAANG ETF

i was/am playing this like a 'tech bubble play ' but i definitely prefer the Asian variant as that is where i see the long term growth

( BTW this was only a MODEST little adventure being in Asia you are taking on higher risk , so far )
