A couple of quick things:

1. The search should hopefully be stable moving forward. I hope the issue with the search crashing has now been solved..
2. ASF should feel faster today. Server memory has been upgraded which should result in faster page loading.

@Joe Blow : Joe ,about new changes? Maybe for a week or so, experienced the following:
I open asf and am logged in ok, open a few tabs based on latest posts, alerts etc
By the time lets say 10 or 15 minutes i read some of the open tabs, i need to force a refresh to be able to like a post or try to post a reply.my logging to the pages has " expired" and liking or reply posting fails
I believe this is a new setup for logging credentials expiration.either site wise or browser wise (chrome).
I did not specifically change anything on my side
Forcing a refresh has issues above the annoyance: you lose part of the typed reply not saved yet.

Not sure what the problem is, but if others are experiencing something similar please let me know in this thread. It would be helpful to know how widespread the issue is.

I have not knowingly made any changes to ASF or the server.

I will do some investigating this morning to see if i can figure out what is causing this.

This is going to be a trial and error process to find a fix for this issue. I have make some software/server tweaks. Please let me know if the issue is still a problem.

I had similar minor problems yesterday but put it down to NBN as they are constantly doing "upgrades"

@Joe Blow Good morning Joe. For me at this end of the world all seems to working OK so far. I haven't had any issues with posts etc.
