I called it at the peak!!

But I guess the true believers will have a chance for a (diluted) nibble.... traded to 63c yesterday and a few piled out, down to 61.5c this morning, until the Trading Halt. And announcement of a Capital Raising.

Back trading... as low as 50c. Didn't see mention of SPP.

Under the Placement, the Company will issue approximately 24.6 million New Shares at an issue price of $0.45 per New Share, raising gross proceeds of $11.1 million. New Shares will be issued in two tranches:
- Tranche one to raise approximately $10.65 million via the issue of 23,673,442 New Shares
- Tranche Two to raise $0.4 million via the issue of 893,892 New Shares to Directors and Management which is subject to shareholder approval to be sought at an upcoming General Meeting

The issue price of $0.45 represents a 14.5% discount to the 15-day VWAP of $0.526.

Placement participants will receive a free attaching unlisted option on a 1:3 basis, exercisable at $0.57 with a two-year expiry, thereby potentially raising a further $4.7 million if all Placement Options are exercised within the next 2 years.

Enter the void.
Quite liked the quick read I did on this company when it spiked.

... Breakaway Gap half filled - was it all for nothing
The 'chosen few' in the placement would be thinking similar thoughts?

Theres some fair sized gaps to be filled there.
Wonder how long will it take?
not even a few months...

now 26c, and has been lower.

84% increase in Resource confirms Koppamurra as a world-scale ionic clay-hosted rare earths Province

Highlights
Mineral Resource estimate increases 84% to 186 million tonnes at 712 ppm TREO; Contained TREO tonnage up 60% to 132,000 tonnes
• Koppamurra is now one of the largest ionic clay-hosted rare earth provinces in Australia with extensive scope for more growth, positioning it as a multi-generational supplier to the electric vehicle and renewable energy markets
• Outstanding scope for ongoing Resource growth with current Mineral Resource covering only ~2% of total Koppamurra tenure
• Mineralisation remains open to the north and south
• A ~30,000 m drilling program is set to start in October 2023 to further expand the Mineral Resource
• Continuing to advance metallurgical testwork and other development studies in parallel

With OZL taken over by BHP, the old management are finding roles outside.

“It has been very gratifying watching so many people move onto fantastic and more senior roles. It’s a credit to the people who made up OZ Minerals,” old CEO Andrew Cole says. Five members of Cole’s senior leadership team have been appointed chief executives elsewhere since the close of the $9.6 billion deal in May.

but the new task at hand is exactly the reason I sold out of AR3.

Australian Rare Earths Limited has received a A$771,000 Research and Development Tax Incentive for the work being undertaken at its Koppamurra rare earth project in South Australia. The incentive, which takes the form of a cash rebate, is a validation of the innovative and important work that AR3 is doing to support the achievement of the Federal Government's Critical Minerals Strategy 2023-2030 objectives, which include:
• creating a diverse, resilient and sustainable supply chain through strong and secure international partnerships;
• building sovereign capability in critical minerals processing;
• using critical minerals to help Australia become a renewable energy superpower; and
• extracting more value from resources onshore, to creates jobs and economic opportunities, including for regional and First Nations communities.

Flowsheet Update for Koppamurra Outlines Low Capital Development Pathway

AR3 Identifies Progressive Heap Leaching Development Pathway for Efficient Rare Earths Extraction at Koppamurra

Highlights:
• Metallurgical testwork delivers high recoveries for Magnet Rare Earths (MRE) up to 72% (ranging from 43% to 72%).
• Progressive heap leach development pathway offers lower capital and operating costs compared to tank leach alternative.
• Optionality for modular expansion to scale up production over time across the province.
• Improved environmental sustainability characteristics:
o Very low water consumption
o Reduced power consumption
o Rapid, progressive rehabilitation techniques
• Testwork also indicates lower gangue/impurity profile with higher rare earth in solution characteristics through column leach, favouring this development approach for an economically sustainable basis of development.

roll the dice? I take these sorts of actions as a tacit admission the current focus isn't going anywhere.
