A small aircraft has crashed into a building in New York City, according to media reports Wednesday. Television news reports showed smoke rising from a building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. End of Story

NEW YORK - A small plane crashed into a high-rise condominium Wednesday on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, touching off a raging fire that sent a pillar of black smoke over the city, police said.

There was no immediate word on any deaths or injuries or whether residents were home at the time of the crash. Officials at the Federal Aviation Administration and the FBI said there was no reason to believe the incident was terrorism-related.

Nonetheless, a military official at NORAD said that as an extra measure of security, there were "numerous fighter jet patrols" over several U.S. cities.

I wonder if Larry Silverstein own this building as well?

You know Ghoti ....thats exactly what I thought -and to add to it -it has celebrity news quality in the mix .Its strange how the Daffour genecide is getting squeezed out of the news for one oragami plane in NY.Sorry for being cynical,but Ghoti your dead right.
Notice I put up the web-link for the NY Yankees its already on their website give the guy's family a break!
BTW I remember that American soldiers body being dragged down the street in Somalia ......and the thought came to me if that was my sons body being dragged .....I would have vendetta inscribed in my brain for that CNN reporter.....Time to take me kids to school!
