I'm talking about futures and things.
Make sure you have subscribed to the relevant data.
OK here's some symbols to get you going:
(PS don't use the dec, 07 codes, they're expiring)
I've only managed to get the e-minis up, no ym, qm and most importantly, SPI. Is there any place I can go to work out the symbols? Because there is obviously a formula to it.
Unfortunately not.At least it's stopped asking me to accept connection.
PS - is there a way to get a continuous contract with this method on the charts?
Thanks, that is fantastic.hehe - there is. [futures code found in description column in TWS]-[exchange code]-FUT
ym = YM(3 spaces)MAR 08-ECBOT-FUT (note number of spaces... 3 and 1)
qm = QMF8-NYMEX-FUT
SPI = APH8-SNFE-FUT
Unfortunately not.
Thanks, that is fantastic.
Is there anyway to seperate the day session from the night session on the charts? So it doesn't muck around with the pivots?
Go to Symbols/Categories and assign the tickers into a "group". While there you can assign each group it's day session hours and select "show day session only" via the "intraday settings" button.
It's all fairly obvious once you get in there.
SHORT
Hi All,
I think my Interactive Brokers data for symbol SPI-SNFE-IND from 19/12/2007 - 20/12/2007 is broken.
Anyone else have this problem? I can't work out how to delete the quotes without IB backfilling it again?
Just wondering if anyone could tell me how it is possible to display indicator values on the side of the chart, rather than on top?
If someone could tell me what code to use that would be great.
