Alto Energy (AIO) - Lach Drummond (LDR) Merger

Just curious as to why a confirmed and positive merger between these companies has seen the stock plummit from 5.5cents a few months ago to 2.4cents currently. I thought the positives of this merger would see stock values increase? I'm new to this so any advice would be appreciated.
