AML3D specialises in providing commercial large-scale metal 3D printing services and solutions to defence, maritime, aerospace and resources customers.

Founded in November 2014, AML3D has commercialised its wire arc additive manufacturing technology (under the trademark WAM®), an innovative metal additive manufacturing technology for the cost-effective production of large, high performance metal components and structures.

In conjunction with its WAM® technology, AML3D has developed its own proprietary software, WAMSoft®, which combines metallurgical science and engineering design to fully automate the 3D printing process utilising advanced robotics technology. The WAMSoft® software enables a highly tailored approach to the needs of each client by enabling different pathways and welding operations for different products and materials.

AML3D's Adelaide Contract Manufacturing Centre was the first wire arc additive manufacturing facility globally to achieve 'Lloyds Certification'.

AML3D has secured commercial contracts (in the form of purchase orders for paid trial parts) with Australian, Singaporean and European clients with a focus on its contract manufacturing services as well as delivering integrated solutions for end users.

It is anticipated that AL3 will list on the ASX during March 2020.

I bought a few of these the day they floated at 14c. A bloke has to have a wash every now and then.

AML3D INITIATES SINGAPOREAN OPERATIONS
- First ARCEMY® module delivered to ST Engineering under a “rent to buy” agreement
- AML3D retains the right to use 50% of the ARCEMY® module’s capacity through the ‘rent’ period
- Access to the module is of great benefit to AML3D, providing the capability to manufacture components for customers throughout Asia before the establishment of its planned Singapore facility.

ST ENGINEERING –A SUBSTANTIAL PARTNER ... ST Engineering is one of Asia’s leading defence and engineering groups, providing AML3D with a strong foundation to establish and grow operations within the region

- Adelaide up and running. Marine, Defence, Oil and Gas and other industries seem the sensible focus,
- now looking to open a facility in Singapore. Access to the module at ST Eng would be useful, in the ramp up stage.
- Whilst "COVID-19 further highlights the need for high-quality, cost effective advanced manufacturing solutions that are not reliant on long lead supply chains from overseas" it would be equally frustrating not being able to get out and kick a few goals. Must be hard for any early stage biz

(watchful waiting)

and then there's competition like this:
https://www.relativityspace.com/stargate
Starting with rockets, our Stargate factory vertically integrates robotics, software, and patented 3D printing technologies to digitize manufacturing. Our proprietary process optimizes every aspect of aerospace development and enables faster, more frequent, and lower cost access to space.
The 'Mission Statement' (aspiration) is first to 3D print via plasma welding the components of rockets. Next ambition after this is to do same on Mars (but probably starting off more modestly with water tanks on the Red planet)

Relativity linked up with CleanTeQ CLQ (MoU, etc)
Clean TeQ’s technical and marketing team will work closely with Relativity on development of scandium-containing alloys for Relativity’s patented Stargate 3D printing process. Results so far are encouraging and trials are progressing.

This is a speckie for me . It doesn't have any solid runs on the board in terms of any sustainable revenues yet. All blue sky. It is getting some media and if the market stays hot (IF) then it may gather some momentum.

Right now, it seems to be hitting resistance at $0.20

I'm free carried now. No need to wash. I'm not heading into town for some time now. Yee-ha!
