AAU - Antilles Gold

Not much movement today. The announcement didn't even show on my Commsec app under announcements alerts. I found out from you and looked it up. Some awesome looking core samples with a lot of copper.
I think there's an ASX crackdown on what qualifies as Price Sensitive or not when it comes to announcements.

but as an addtional FYI - AAU uses an Investor Relations business called Proactive Investors, and they do write ups, video interviews and email mail outs, I expect an email to go out to the masses tonight with a link back to this article from today

if you find that you'll also find all the other prior comms write ups and interviews too, happy research / reading.

Today's Quarterly Activity mentioned / reminded new holders about the Antonio deposit with its alreadyin place NI 43-101 resource estimate, which was previoulsy announced (forced to be retracted under JORC) to the market that "in ground value there was $525M USD" at various metals prices.

My below data against recent prices shows both Silver and Copper being aboove those estimate targets, and with Zinc ever so close to the $1.60 price target itself

Sure everyone's focus is the potential of large Copper-Gold porhpyry deposits, but this largely ready to develop deposit still has some potential cashflow to tap into too - refer to the June 2022 original announcements to confirm and read first hand

It would take only $100k to send the price to .06..
yes sell side is pretty thin in mkt depth anyway, like I said above most holders know the expected newsflows to come, which is covering multiple aspects of the pipeline projects and JV arrangements as foreshadowed in the Quarterly Activities announcement just yesterday

When do you think the money from Dominican Republic will hit the books?
the update has been that the Arbitration decision will be heard as a matter in June 2023, so if the confidence that the company has announced to the market comes to fruition and a favourable decision is received, some time after the June decision

this recent announcement, 8th March, is starting to really lay the foundations for a significant porphyry copper-gold system IMO:

  • an Excellent location for a future major mine
  • the Company's shareholding in a new Joint Venture (Antilles Metals Inc) would be significantly greater than the current 50% for La Demajagua

yes alot of new developments with multiple Copper-Gold prospects and the El Pilar and Gaspar sites showing up very promising signs in the IP serveying, two relatively close porphyry systems should certainly attract tier 1 mining partners when thew timing / exploration is proven enough

It could be a pretty busy news front over the next few months

Yeah agree @signalFollower along with that important, upcoming arbitration hearing & subsequent decision to be made in June '23

Iff favourable June decision/outcome? then a potential windfall of $40+ million cash into AAU coffers (finger's crossed) come September '23

Meanwhile, rumour going around that current trading halt will be lifted on 26th April to announce cap raise placement of 90 million shares @ 0.034 with proceeds to fund multiple drilling campaigns to commence very soon. I seem to think we may qualify for 1 free option for every 3 shares held - correct ?

P.S. My pick for May '23 stock tipping comp. along with being invested here of course

yes all shaeholders on the register as at Record Date (now shifted out to 22 May I think - was to be 1st of May) will be eligible for a pretty attractive option entitlement of 1 for 3 shares held.

Whilst not quite "free options" they're pretty close to that as the take up price is a mere 0.001 per entitlement option.

And the good thing, in context to your post about arbitration and a possible settlment way in excess of current Market Cap, is that those options have a long dated expiry term of 2 years abd a strike price of only 10 cents.

The company's market cap should already be at or above 10c IMO based upon AAU's share in the NPV of the La Demajagua open pit Gold-Silver-Antimony mine as recently announced in the updated Scoping Study

I am topping up on AAU for the option entitlements myself, but that's via on-market as I beleive the Cap Raise you mention which also comes with actual free options for shares applied / allocated is already going to be fully lined up for spohisticated investors with large licks of money given how strong the pipeline for AAU looks and the possibility of the outcome settlement payment re the arbitration case

recent announcement (per below) another big tick for AAU :)

My friend, surely you didn't doubt? Threw the dummy and then stepped right ;-)

Gut says we may slide right till after the AGM, which I am attending as Christian is reported to be in country for it & I'm keen to hear his take on things. The new ground looks positively spectacular from a potential standpoint.

Also the clearing of hurdles and mention of the new oxide resource sits well with expectation and gives a duel pathway to cashflow now as El pilar can train gold filled overburden down to Jacinto and blend for processing which takes care of the ? where do you place a plant at El Pilar when all the ground below is Copper zonal. :)

As frustrating as it has been I can see the turn, though should have waited another week for the cheaper shares, doh! hahaha

Am keen to see this prospectus although I do wonder why we keep getting things out of order.

Surely if the prospectus was a req of issuing oppies it would have been produced earlier so as not to appear amaturish..

Even the date quoted in the ann being 15 May is 3 days before the expected publish date so trust that too is a typo?

I feel there is a lot going on at present with minimal oversight so look forward chatting with respective entities at the agm.. h8tey
