3DA - Amaero International

I would like to go on record as having to admit this is now my worst ever "investment".
An average buyin price of .5543, it hit (another) 52 week low of 0.255.

People should remember this if I ever post on a stock that I think might be worth a punt.

I am looking for 3DA to have bottomed out.
The consistent downward trend that has occurred since I bought out seems to have flattened.
There are now few sellers at these low prices, with an increasing supply on the ask side.
I suspect the shakeout is complete.

Geesh, this went off my watch list a little while ago so haven't been watching. Certainly come off a lot in the past year. Could be a double bottom down there Mick.

#da announced today that
Amaero International Limited (“Amaero”), (the “Company”) (ASX:3DA), a leader in metal additive manufacturing has commenced an evaluation of strategic alternatives and has engaged global investment and advisory firm Guggenheim Securities, LLC (“Guggenheim Securities”) to assist it in this process.
Not a good sign.
Looks like the board have thrown their hands up and said it is all too hard.
Maybe they are hoping to sell out to the Yanks or maybe the Chinese.

3DA got down to a low of 16 a few weeks ago.
Had a run up to 20, but then fell back to 17.
The quarterly out today gives me some hope(perhaps misplaced).
They have approval to build the powder factory in Victoria, and still have backing from the American investors, so for a while at least, finance should not be an issue.
Still not tempted to add to my loss making holdings.

What do you think the 'strategic alternatives' are Mick?

Something strategic may be happening.
3DA up 20% today.
Sems that it MAY have bottomed, though there is not a lot of volume out and about.
Mick

Well, the strategic review is out and it looks like the Americans have taken over without having to offer anything at all.
The two US guys have taken over the leadership positions on the board and dumped the two oz reps, the powder processing plant to be built in Victoria has been cancelled, and "new opportunities" in the middle east are being explored.
The plan to be cash flow positive by the end of Cal tea 2023 has also gone out the window.
the transfer of the technology offshore id now complete.
Down another 16% on the news.
Is that an increase in barking I hear?
Mick

A capital raising at 0.067, somewhat below current SP at 0.71.
The final insult to OZ shareholders, the underwriters will take up the slack, and more dilution will take place.
The new compliant non executive directors will allow the free to the transfer of everything to UAE, and there goes some more OZ cutting edge tech.
Meanwhile, we fret over who is going to win an overhyped horse race watched by drunks in expensive clothes.
Oz is Fc$##@ed.

I have chosen 3DA as my pick in the October comp based on the post above.
Anyone with a moniker like swervin mervin must know what they are doing.

Geez, who were the suckers who paid 26.5 cents for fido?
Come back a fair bit to 23 cents.
Surely there would be no ramping just cos I picked it in the comp??
Mick

no wonder its gone on a run.

Amaero Will Cease Operations In Australia To Focus On Flagship Operations in United States

Change in Principal Place of Business and Registered Office Address

3DA announces that the Board has resolved to commence the cessation of its operations in Australia. The decision reflects the Company’s commitment to focus its executive team on flagship operations in the U.S. and to prudently manage operating expenses.

As part of the cessation of Australian operations, the Company will terminate its leases at its South Australian and Victorian premises and any ongoing commercial contracts in Australia will be ended. Equipment and inventory held in Australia may be shipped to the Tennessee facility or will be sold.

The Company will continue to evaluate commercial opportunities in Australia that include adjacency opportunities in mining critical minerals, as well as advanced manufacturing for the aerospace & defence, space and energy sectors.

The Company’s Principal Place of Business address has been changed from the Victorian premises to the Tennessee facility in the U.S..

Well can,t say I am surprised at the cessation in Oz.
As I suggested back in the past, it seemed like the plan all along.
