Go for a 30" most of the time you only look at 1 monitor the others are for extra stuff.

It looks so clean and tidy... so clinical, like an operating theatre.

Gees, I've got pens and paper, an MFC phone, calculator, files, a heap of photo's I trying to convert to a digital album, a TV remote, my shopping list, my dinner and a cat or two climbing over everything.

Guess I better smarten up a bit.

At least I'm not as bad as the cost clerk where I worked once. No joking, he had everything he would ever need stacked on his desk... It just took him a while to turn over everything to find what he wanted... then pat out a level spot on top where he could work again.

Thats just about it apart from a tray full of invoices for the accountant to make sense of, a notebook full of illegible scribbles of the days trading, a folder of chart print outs dating back years and marks from the 10 or so :cup: I need per day to trade like a nut :nuts:

But no, cleanish but not a freak.

Dell has just launched a new 22inch monitor... and is priced at $1599!!

It has 2ms response for Grey to Grey which is extremely good, compared to the 6ms for the 24inch ultrasharp.
Tho the contrast ratio is 2000:1 compared to the 3000:1 for the 24inch.
The 22inch has 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz comepared to the 24inch at 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.

It looks nice and shiney and has inbuilt webcam and speakers... but for $1599 you are better off with two 24inch ultrasharp monitors!
