$10 Billion 'In the Bush' - New Towns

Look at the Altona Energy front page and the British are telling us that they, together with the Chinese are to open up vast tracts of Northern South Australia to industry and agriculture.
Have they considered Goyder's Line ?

There is in fact more underground water in South Australia than many think. The 11 billion tonnes of sub-bituminous coal has 16% water, there is also the Phillipson Lake.
Coober Pedy Railway Station is notorious as you have to be met to be let off the train. Locals would have you believe that the sun will burn you up, if it don't then the cold nights will freeze yer to death, if it don't then a sandstorm will blind you and you'll die, if not a snake will be bite you and kill you. Then, you'll fry, freeze and yer pieces 'ill be blown away in the sandstorm.
