I don't think it racist what Dawn Fraser said about Tomic and Kyrgios.
The way Tomic performs and the actions of Kyrgios last night was un-Australian, so maybe they would feel more comfortable playing for the birthplace of their fathers / mothers.
Never really liked Tomic's behaviour, but have been impressed with Kyrgios to date. Last night I will put down to a brain fade.

Big dummy spits don't go down well in the land down under. Pull the head in boys and talk with the racket.

Hewitt used to behave very poorly...should we have found out where his great great grandparents came from and sent him back there?

Those guys are just young sportsmen with big egos. Where their parents were born isn't relevant, in my opinion.

So where do we send our cricketers back to ?

I suspect the planes will be full if we start sending un-sporting australians to other countries!

Mind you the aborigines would no doubt be happy to see all australians with immigrant ancestors returned to sender!!

It is also a reminder of the danger of Abbott's lunatic attempts to strip australians of their citzenship for acts deemed un-australian, without any burden of proof test. His sort of nonsense only encourages racist attacks like Fraser's.

What does un-Australian mean?

Giving up
No respect for authority
Attempts to belittle people
Attacking and criticizing without due cause.
No respect for the country you come from.
No respect for your fans.
Big noting
Lack of humility.
Beating your own drum----loudly!
Acting like a total brat.
No self control when your an ambassador
To kids and country.

Gee when did number 2 creep into the mix?

Central umpire tyraid
Head of Tennis Australia tyraid

Yes I agree it's tiresome and almost as embarrassing as watching tone deaf singers on The Voice, but Australia is not traditionally respectful of authority ...although I don't know about Millennials and Hipsters though.

Most of them seem to describe what it is to BE australian!

So much for free speech, you can say what you want, as long as no one else finds it offensive.:D

Fraser's comments prove that migrants have to perform better than locally born Anglo-Celtic Australians to prove their worth.

It has always been thus.

Tomic and Kyrgios need to pull their heads in and behave better.

Yes, " Why don't you ff off back to England you whinging Pommie Ba$$ard" sounds familiar.

So I really don't think race comes into it.:xyxthumbs

It's just, we have become so used to excusing poor performance, behaviour, work ethic, manners, decency, that we now find it easier to abuse those who highlight it.

Then the issue goes away, on the back burner.

If it rears its head we, abuse and ridicule the person until they conform.

Australia striving for mediocrity, and achieving it.:D

These guys don't understand that they are a brand.
They are costing themselves 1000s if not millions.

Not only that they are losing potential fans.

It's not even entertaining
At least McEnroe made great viewing.
It was McEnroe

So where do we send our cricketers back to ?

That depends on their ethnicity of course. And whether their parents were born here or overseas.

But to be fair to Fraser, we all disown stars and achievers that later disappoint us or commit crime and stuff. Just when they're of the same race as you, you can't really blame the race... when they're of another colour, all is fair game.

Dawn may care to remember some of her behaviour when she was a teenager.

I am absolutely sure she does, and the whopping penalties she received. Probably the most qualified person to talk on the cost of unaccepted 'behaviour'.
All her offences were pretty minor by todays standards. I really do think young Nick (and Barnard) could learn a lot from having a chat with Dawn. That experience Dawn suffered FAR outweighs that her comment was racist. she already had a truckload of medals, them boys aint got there yet. She has apologised for the comment being construed as racist. Wonder if we see the humble acceptance from Nick and he gets on with the game.
He looks the making of a legend. If they had a jumper on with any footy code and tried that stunt - wouldn't be playing next week!
