Thought i'd start up a thread on all questions house related, for those who seek info on anything technical they need to know.

Has anyone here used liquid limestone on their property? I'm looking at laying my driveway and was exploring options other than cement and paving.
How does it stack up in regards to long term cleanliness, durability and presentation?
Any experiences good or bad would be appreciated.

Yes, Liquid stone, capping , Pavers,Tables, Benches, Pier caps, fancy bevel and stone faced recon blocks were a side arm of a business i Held in Perth ( now sold but earn a small sling on the side as a "kinda" royalty gig on it ;)

Laying liquid stone a piece of cake and to be honest if one does it themself(mixing) it works outcheaper..... use 19mm limestone gravel, cockburn cream and lime....pour and setup as normal concrete.

once screeded off and partly set give the surface a nice brush with a hard broom ( using swirling motions).

Once set fairly hard ( not SET unworkably) mark out your pattern ( random , block or whatever takes fancy)

once marked use a WIDER brickies pointing tool to grrove in the pattern using a straight edges
sweep over to get rid of dust.

Or have no pattern.

cure as one would normal concrete

as far as sealing goes ..... we used to use "stone seal " for all products....expensive but a total sealer against most spillages...we used to buy in bulk ( 200lx5) and get a decent discount.
Sealing protects it BUT personally dont like the "shiny" coat it gives it
On my own house i left unsealed for 2 years b4 sealing to get a bit of "blackness" to the stone, to just add character to it.... all spills were scrubbed as they happened before that.

each to there own on how they prefer it.

If done well ( my previous house done in a random pattern with cut in crazy pave around a bench), red paver border ......Looks a million bucks and once sealed bugga all worrys.

If theres no reo in it--it will crack itself to death in no time.
