82...(not as accurate for me though because im well below 45 therefore some of the questions I just had to answer 'no'). University's and labs are already growing live human organs so im guessing in 50 or 60 years when im 69 or 79 respectively theyll have operations they can perform for the right amount.

I must admit I am in to quality and enjoyment and not quantity or longevity.

A particular problem I have is with measuring the experience of time and with the determination of quality time.

Actually its still a lottery of course...Just found this American (i think) period life table from 2005....at my age probability of death in this year 0.004410 at 57 its 0.009170 at 67 its 0.020735 (big jump) and 77 its 0.051737.

wow of all the men born in 1963 half wont see 79 years of age and a third wont see 73...and 10% wont see 54 and 20% wont see 65.

I was given a prediction of 95 years, although I suspect it would have been less if the quiz included questions such as "Do you handle deadly snakes on a daily basis?" and "Do you have a history of being in life-threatening situations such as skydiving mishaps, getting caught in rips, ending up stranded and unprepared in the wilderness etc?" and "Do you have a history of doing stupid things like going SCUBA diving and skydiving on the same day, getting zapped by 240volts and getting severely lost while bushbashing, and does this history include far too many trips to hospital without many of which you would be dead?"

Then again, maybe that would be balanced if it included questions such as "Have you escaped against the odds from situations like being caught in a rip, being in the middle of the black Saturday fires, that incident in Texas you shouldn't mention on ASF, etc?"

I'm a bit sus about the accuracy of questionaires at the best of times.

Never guess an age as to when you will live, it's fatal.
Fred D said, whilst laughing, "I'll only live to be 76". Dead at 67 of cancer. He was awarded a CBE just before in 2007.

Bill D said, "I'll out live you lot, my Grandad's 98". Dead at 51, fell out of a boat fishing in Canada 3 weeks later in 1974.

Ron H said, "This job is the pinnacle of my career, I'll spend the next 30 years enjoying my new found wealth". Two years later, dead, brain tumour in 1989.

I think the world is a **** place and hope I don't live to 90 or 100! Only thing I love about this place is nature....which we as humans are doing a great job of screwing up.

Besides...I honestly think an asteroid will hit the planet before I die. We are due for one.
Or perhaps the Mayan calander is right. (Wont be buying a Ferrari though just incase )

I'm more devestated by the fact that I will likely have to work to some rediculous age before I can retire thanks to the Australian government!
We aren't all rich with cushy pen pushing jobs.

This calculator seems to pretty reliably give overestimates. Everyone is getting estimates in the mid 90s. It probably just throws your answers into the cyberspace garbage bin, gives you a random number in the mid 90s so you so "OOooooh, AAaaaaah, I'm going to live to a ripe old age, gee, I am in love with this site, I'll tell all my friends about how awesome I am, I'm going to live to almost 100!". Well, if you answer with "I smoke all day and my parents died at 16" I'm sure it would have to give you a lower estimate.

I just took the quiz again, don't bother talking to me for a while because I won't be able to hear you over the sound of how freaking awesome Sdaji is.

Julia, unfortunately, this is a new type of marketing gimmick to obtain your name and addy. Now that these people have your information, you may well recieve promotion for health products and the like.

It's one big 'con' job. They are not a bit interested how long you live, all they are interested in is selling you some useless products you probably do not need.

I did a similar one last week on whether you look younger than you are.

So mark my words, it won't be long.
