Police Minister Tim Holding targetted in Parliament over latest database breach http://www.abc.net.au/stateline/vic/content/2005/s1441955.htm

also.....who knows where deals with the chinese would lead? he's already being blamed for information leaks. now it seems hes had a bit to do with the chinese military and sensitive communication based tech...

“Mr Holding met senior representatives of the Chinese Communication Authority earlier this year and his expression of Government support for our export initiatives made a very big impression on the Chinese officials,” Mr Kemel said.

I'm all for the 'Chinese retirement policy' for pollies:D

metric,

I CAN NOT believe you are trying to turn this into a conspiracy theory.

There is a thread for that now....

:cautious:

Metric,

Please do not put a full stop after two line breaks. It is a waste of bandwith.

Come on mate, that comment wasted a whole lot more bandwidth. Couple of breaks and a dot: not much bandwidth at all. Neglible. Nothing.

While im all for proper formating using line breaks what is the point of extending the post out and making the page longer and more difficult to read? And why not use one line break instead of two if you absolutely must put a full stop in our post (aside from at the end of the sentence)?

As soon as they get the chopper up they will find him, which i see they just have. I've spent a lot of time in that area. A fair bit in the snow and there's not far to go. Especially on the track he got lost on. Even if he walked off track he only has to lose about 200m elevation and his below the snow line.

It is a bit strange that he hasn't walked out because there is nowhere to go but down onto the road that runs along the valley. Unless his gone up hill

Or hurt.

point taken...but two warnings from 2 mods on the same day i start regular posting, after i get back from a 3 months suspension.....mmmmmm.

hell, if you dont want me here you should have just banned me permanently...

Holding alive, not even the worst for wear.

I almost think it was a publicity stunt from, in my opinion, the second worst minister ALP Victoria has.

Metric here is one for you. Black helicopters in the air stuff,

A private aircraft, not related to the search, spotted Mr Holding last night while he was wearing a headlamp given to him by his partner for his birthday last month.

Deputy Comissioner Kieran Walshe said he could not discuss the use of the aircraft because of security reasons.

The plane had spied a possible camp site overnight, narrowing the search area this morning.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the plane used was not a police plane but she could not comment further on the aircraft.

That would involve a bit of effort, commonsense and direction. Of course he is going to opt for wasting massive amounts of taxpayers funds, while walking round in circles :p:

Thou I would recommend all ministers go on a long walk. The higher their position the further they are dropped off and the longer time before any search starts. Although it will waste countless millions of dollars it will save our nation billions in stupid wasted "initiatives".

Like a pipeline to move water we haven't got or,

A NBN that will cost 80 bil and no one will use or,

Another stimulus package.
