I am looking for a job that i can do from home. I was thinking along the lines of data entry, something online or something similar. I really would like to find something that i can do from home while trading from home at the same time. I would like work that is flexible in that i could do it sporadically throughout the day or at night after the market has closed.

Does anybody work from home while they also trade the markets?

Does anybody have any suggestions of jobs that fit my criteria?

Does anybody want to offer me a job that i can do from home? If it is trading related even better :)

With the new WA prostition laws you are currently allowed to provide 2 ladies from a home address . I think this is Top notch and if times get hard i can invite over my ex girlfriend and her mate from the goldcoast and make there stay a profitable and comfortable one.

this may not appeal to everyone out there but i think that this could be the ideal home business for the more adventurous out there

p.s apparently through history this line of work has been recession/depression proof.

My uncle actually gets paid to bundle these wire thingoes in bundles of 100 supplied by a local sheet metal place . delivered in the tens of thousands and he sorts the inferior and bundles the rest

it pays the bills and fits around his other commitments

Jersey, some market research companies will allow you to work from home doing telephone surveys.

in a similar vein, but unintentionally . . .

in a past life i was a remedial massage therapist working from home.

i had undertaken a professional remedial massage course and was naive to the realities of the greater proportion of the industry.

8 of 10 phone calls i recieved were from fellas wanting a "full body massage", so to speak. The convoluted conversations i had with phone callers when i first started are quite funny looking back.

i recall one bloke who became so frustrated because i didnt understand his cryptic requests, angrily he told me "well if u dont understand, just forget it!" . . . was i missing out on something :confused:

on another occassion i found a bloke walking around my home naked; that was his way of asking for a full body massage. another customer, whom after many subtle suggestions that he wanted much more than a remedial massage, looked terribly disappointed when he heard my partner (female) in the house.

geepers creepers the requests never ended. needless to say i didnt last long in the remedial massage business. full body massage just wasnt my style.

I think 100% working from home is the best risk diverse setup you can have. Also you're always there for the family. Overheads like rent do not exist, if your house is yours (paid off or not)
So many things can be claimed as tax deductions along the way as well.
Theft is minimal compared to having a commercial dwelling as well. You're always home. But you are right in "what to do" Choose something which gives you some kind of an edge.

I have worked from home for a long time in engineering. I went back to a normal sized house and after 5 years recently returned back to an acre. A shed can be built saving some 30 thousand in rent for starters. It is not recommended but if the neighbours are not upset it works very well. For me this time perhaps a fruit and veg delivery service direct to people's homes might work!

try to take control,
good luck.

Just what type of nun are you:cautious:? lol

Haven't you ever seen those Work from home ads posted to telegraph poles.. I think they earn 200K a year or so...

But seriously, I actually only go into work 2 days a week, and the rest from home (as programmer/web developer). The IT industry is quite good for that sort of thing - but it all comes down to the employer. Most don't trust you or have other employees that would get jealous.

99% of work from home offers are scams like the above unfortunetly.

If you can think of something to do, or sell online thats a nice easy thing to do from home with little overhead.

I think the brothel idea is a cracker. Maybe we could get nuntheweiser to get some of her collegues in on the action at the convent lol

I am semi-retired, but work from home also at times, which requires me to make and receive phone calls and texts.

A word of warning

It is seriously disruptive if you want to intra-day trade.

Its very hard to concentrate on an incoming call, when you are on a fluctuating trade:banghead:

it cost me plenty on several occasions.
