Our most prolific contributor hasn`t posted since 13th. January and has turned off private messaging.

Does anyone know if he is on holidays or something?

Maybe he is researching stuff....

He is interested in a lot of passionate news of variety!

I admire his dedication...

He has either "hit on a winner"...
or having a well earned rest from whatever...

Maybe his computa is down, crashed and burned... hope not

Perhaps he has been locked up by Youtube for watching and posting too many of their vids and crashing their systems ;)

I believe he's gone to a conference in Victoria for two weeks as he's very concerned about how to over winter his mangle wurzels.

...and here's a bit of music from mangle wurzel land: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGTRbOKzVqE

You can get a machine that chops up your mangle wurzels so you can bag them up to store. Don't leave them in the ground as they rot in the frost and damp.
You will understand why 2020 is so concerned.

In setting up this site Joe limited contributions to an arbitrary lifetime maximum of 9482 posts.
On hitting that number 2020 is now in a quandary.
Joe offered him "24/7myopia" as an option.
2020 can't see its viability.
With the benefit of hindsight, I can;)

I'm guessing that 2020 has ended up with no power, and thus no working computer, as a consequence of trying to implement distributed generation as a fix to the climate change issue. Then he discovered the hard way that it's not exactly cheap and still produces some CO2. So now he's sitting in the dark, having disconnected the mains and not having any power to actually set up the alternative system with. And being unable to charge the phone, he can't call the utility to get the mains power turned back on either.

Seriously, I hope 2020 is doing fine somewhere. And yes, I had noticed the absence. :2twocents

This, of all the explanations is the most likely. Many folk are very concerned about the over wintering of mangle wurzels, but few are willing to stand up and be counted.

Quite right! In the absence of 2020 I'm compiling a special "Mangled Wurzel" Youtube presentation to stamp home to every Aussie at ASF, the importance of planting, and most of all, "overwintering your mangle wurzels".

Now we move on to "The Wurzels" a group founded in 1966 and still continuing 'till this day. Their top hit in support of overwintering mangle wurzels, in the absence of 2020 away at the Victoria Mangle Wurzel Conference, I give you the wurzels in 1976 and "I've got a brand new combine harvestor": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tb63PdPweDc

A great concern in QLD is the overwintering of mangle wurzels and they can only be planted as seed. Who knows, 2020 may bring some back from the conference.
Meanwhile we move to 1968 with Adge Cutler and the original Wurzels (Adge was killed in a car crash in 1974): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usAMTnlelvs

he might be on a overseas juncket with his old LABOR mate KEVIN 07:D .Geez that was my first post for almost 3months but no-one has inquired where i was
