There are actually factions of the military and police fighting each other in Mexico for control of the drug trade.

Sounds like a good reason for Unca Sam to come home from Iraq and re-deploy SOUTH instead of wasting the desert sands of Afghanistan! The logistics of "fixing" Mexico must surely be cheaper.

And, in regard to the cross border raid, and the 'children' being killed, I wonder how old they really were, and just when they were going to be strapping bomb kits to their bodies to kill some fellow Muslims, both women and children. Of course, that would have been justified.
