Others may say "what law supports the sanctuary of terrorists that move into another country?" Or "what law protects the sanctuary of terrorists?"

Of Course Syria is going to say it was innocent civilians killed in the attack. They have always been truthful with their reporting before right!!!

They would have been Special Forces who carried out that raid and there is no way they would have just gone in and shot up some innocent civilians.
I can't see how it could be a provocation attack to try and sucker Syria into the war either. The Syria elite are not stupid, as they know if they were to enter a war against the US than they would be finished and would spend the rest of their lives (if they managed to survive) in exile some where.

My take on the situation is this: The insurgents in Syria got a little too comfortable and complacent and that was their downfall. The Americans have sent a clear msg to them now, and they will just have to move further away from the border, but that won't mean they are safe as they can still be targeted with missiles and air strikes. Its the same situation on the Afghan/ Paki border, the US has been targeting Taliban and AQ insurgents for years using Predator and SF.

I don't know how come they not kill these guys when they are inside Iraq? I do believe it is the best way/place to engage them.

Secondly wouldn't the moral thing to do is to ask UN to ask Syria to hand over those miscreants to US or UN for trial? I guess all rational thinking and western principles have been thrown out the window.
