Sit her down tonight and talk it through! This kinda stuff needs to be addressed before it gets silly.

My girlfriend and I seem to have worked this stuff out pretty well, we have deliberately not picked sides of the bed, every night is "which side do you/I want?" and we try and keep it fair.

So we get back to Constrable's proposal that you sleep end to end - only way you can each be on each others left
Of course the smell of feet can be a bit unromantic I guess

The other day I put up our tent in the back yard since it had not been used for a few years.. cool, I thought, I'll sleep here tonight.. and I did. Walkman radio to pick up the market info at 5amm (in WA).. excellent. I've been married for nearly 42 years so it was OK.. and its abloke thing after all, cave and that sort of stuff. Sleep anyway you like, front back or side, thats my advice. :
