I understand why he is thinking about it though. Truth social only has 8 million site visits a month while Twitter has around 9 billion.

Newscorp doesn't report a lot.

Did you hear about the PWC scandal today? It was do with them giving advice to the government (Libs) to tackle tax evasion by multi nationals and then breaking the secrecy agreement and advising the multinationals how to set up the business to get around it before the law was passed. The partner should be in jail (he won't).

Of course Newscorp was probably one of the multinationals who got the advice.

Your probably right, Newscorp is probably the only Australian media company that is multinational and making money.
Fairfax had to get out, the Guardian always has the begging bowl out and the others are trying to subsidise with earth moving.
So you may be right, they may be the only newspaper paying any tax.

Not paying you mean. Newscorp hasn't paid tax for years. Fairfax who reported this is owned by Nine now. Guardian is multinational so they will probably be paying nothing.

It wouldnt surprise me, the payg taxpayer always has to support the food chain, at least with gst even companies have to pay something somewhere along the line.
Didnt BHP get done recently?
 
Who cares? Govt debt doesn't matter anyway, does it? Or so the proponents of MMT tell me.
