There is a lot to be said for our British based system.

When you have a good think about it the whole western monetary system is flawed.

Few make enough to retire.
Yet we all pay taxes to governments who are basically continuously broke.
We use all we earn to survive.

90% of us have it all wrong.

The depression has not started in full yet and if it goes for 5- 10+ yrs a lot of crime will have taken place it will be like the movie Escape from New York only worse.
All this is on borrowed money.

If China tanks OZ will be worse.

Just out of curiosity, what is it that the 90% have got wrong? And what is right?

They work all their life pay their taxes and struggle when they retire or lose their job at a later period in life.

Right if you can identify it early enough is to live within your means and be able to
become self supporting without concern financially.
Being able to afford health care and live comfortably without worrying hat you can't pay your power bills or council rates.

Very few get here.

Seemingly so, except for the privileged few mega filthy-rich with their sweaty hands alone on the media & money printing press levers. Infinite good times ahead for them, it seems.
