I don't post on ASF very often and am sad that this is one of my first posts, but would like to inform all that Yogi-in-Oz has passed away.

This is a post which I read on Hotcopper......

On "The West Australian" 5th/August/2011. I read with sad emotion that Yogi bear has passed away. I will miss his comment and good analysis regrading on share tradings, xjo.

Condolenses to family and friends........

Thanks for telling us, Kelvin. That's very sad. I always thought of him as quite young.
Hope I was wrong.

I think his name is Paul Nipperness.
Had many heated discussions over many years.
In the end we left each other to our own--- generally.

I really hope Yogi enjoyed life as best he could.
Never like to hear any bad news about anyone from the "Community"

This is very sad to hear. Paul joined ASF in 2005 and was a regular visitor and contributor here for around six years. I always found him to be a very positive person who was respectful to others, in spite of any differences he may have had with them. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones. RIP.

I was going to say the same thing. He's displayed plenty of class on this forum.

My condolences to his families and friends.

I have known Paul from back in 2000 and even before . I used to trade oilers along with him . We would often email. We attended Perth Traders meetings held every quarter and had high class breakfasts in classy locations with up to 40 traders . Paul supported it as a sort of Guru. He knew his stuff as he had worked in the oil exploration industry on rigs .

I found him a most interesting individual with knowledge , and he encouraged me when I had bad periods trading . I recall we played ARC Energy from start to finish together and made good money .

He combined Fundamental with Technical Analysis, and use astro-analysis on top which he was an exponent. He publish works on astro analysis . He made good calls and made good dosh ....

Everybody loved him at Perth Traders , and many kept in touch with him .

I dont really want to say much more , but will always remember Paul Nipperness

R.I.P.
