Work for investment companies or not?

Just wandering what people think. I'm sure there are people here that are trading successfully and earning good income from trading. If you are successful in your trading and you are approached by an investment company or stock broking company to work for them, would you do it? Or would you prefer to be just as you are and trade from home. And why?

If a company approaches you, esp via email then its probably a scam...
Having said that TH raised a few good points about working for a firm rather than by yourself.
(ie paying yourself is not a drawdown, access to more capital etc.)

I would do it if any one offered me a big salary.. but I am not successful.. I know for sure that if I owned an investment company I would pay 'Young Trader' big bucks to be on my team ...
