Greetings all,

I'm a long time Amibroker user and recently can across the Wise Trader toolbox, which is an AB plugin containing some esoteric indicators. You can visit their site here: wisetradertoolbox.com.

It's a relatively cheap plugin and I am really only interested in playing around with its neural network functionality.

I've done a bit of a search on the internet for any reviews of this plugin, but couldn't find much. Just wondering if anyone here has first hand experience with this AB plugin?

Thanks in advance.

KP.

I played around with the NN feature when it was first added to the toolbox. Complete waste of time. From what I've read, Neuroshell (Ward Systems) are the only retail software to use (though I haven't tried it myself). There are a couple of free source codes available on the net and I have tried them, but they bamboozled me.

thanks for the feedback. just checked the neuroshell website and ouch...it certainly is expensive, but it seems like it is a serious NN tool. i guess you get what you pay for. thanks again.

Goes on sale occasionally. Send them your email and they'll let you know when that is.

Neuroshell is certainly a much easier to use and a better neural network package but also priced accordingly!

The neural networks in the toolbox have come a long long way since they were first added. Many new algorithms added, wizard etc. What stumps new users is the steep learning curve the wizard helps but it still requires you to learn a bit about how neural networks work and what kind of inputs and outputs are appropriate.

The toolbox is a plugin and is limited to what Amibroker lets plugins do. As a result things like optimization require some coding by the user (whereas it is only a few clicks in Neuroshell). There is one thing the toolbox can do that neuroshell can't. Train a single neural network on multiple stocks (Neuroshell trains a separate NN for each stock and optimizes the parameters on a pool of stocks) this allows you to do some very interesting things.

Hey Wise Trader,
Thanks for your comments. Your plugin seems really interesting and some of the included indicators really seem worth exploring, but the NN functionality seems pretty cool. Do you offer a free trial download period?

Hi MA

Unfortunately due to piracy concerns there is no trial version. If you have any more questions please contact support via the toolbox site.

Greetings.......

Please find the attached picture received me from an expert in NN field. It is developed in Amibroker using WiseTrader Toolbox, lower pane is standard pivot indicator (take time to repaint it ) and above it is neural network indicator (real-time) and compare its accuracy. With proper input (do not use any input available in the toolbox) we can create such indicator but lot of trial error work is needed.

Thanks,

Rajeev

Re: Wise Trader Toolbox

299 USD is bit expensive.

Says who? Just you? Just because you want everything handed over to you for 1 Rupee or better 0.00 USD but not at international market prices? No affiliation to wise trader toolbox but you guys from India are pretty hilarious all the way cracking me up at steady high level. But hey, simple solution handed over to you free of charge: don't buy it but code it yourself.

Hey wmcindia,

You are a clown.

I bought the package on Thursday last week. Made a request on Friday and had Paul send me code for what I was after two hours later. I identified an issue I was having today (not sure what the cause was) and Paul has rectified the issue (within 6 hours) and uploaded to his website.

This level of service is outstanding. I would recommend WiseTrader Toolbox to anyone. I only wanted the head and shoulders pattern detector and the triangle finder. $299 is fantastic value.

You have had this package for a while now, I wonder your opinion at this time. There are so many tools, have you had a chance to explore many.

Thanks
