Will blue chips outperform small caps this year?

Go figure... who would have thought... now the top 5 resource/energy companies in a portfolio could very well be those stocks...

They are all pretty much blue chip.

Have put on 54 % since last December..." KEN

I think the continuing increasing size of superfund must go into ASX. Most of them will choose Blue Chips. The energy and material sector has already been pushed up.The rest of blue chip still not go up very much is Bank ,financial and Insurance sector. Will there be more opportunity in Bank, financial and Insurance sector?

If blue chips are rising so do small caps and when small caps shoot upwards it's normally anything upwards of 200% depending on what you are in. Blue chips very rarely double in 1 year. My answer to that question would definitely be no.
