Mundine.
Speed,Fitness and a real desire to prove a point.

Then he can retire Grow a Fro and take over in promotion from King.

But hey I didnt give Buster Douglas a hope in hell either!

And Ive never won a lottery.

it starts at 5.00pm EST on foxtel but i was told that the actual fight is on at 7.30 and there are a few matches before it.

I dont think it matters if you go for 'the man' or the 'machine', everybody wants to see green smash mundine.

There needs to be a third choice - along the lines of "Does it really matter?"

I cannot, for the life of me, understand the glitz and glam of the boxing ring! Ultimate challenge I guess, Oh well, better than horse racing I suppose!

Every one I speak to backs Green, why because they don't like mundine.

Me included, I remember his comment on (twin towers Sept 11th) do you ? sicko stuff.

I think that comment was taken out of context because it was Mundine who was saying it! He wasnt condoning the attack at all, he was just saying that perhaps the US, by its behaviour, various threats of invasions to other countries etc, does tend to bring the spotlight on them and not always in a positive manner. So the crazies in this world have an excuse to retaliate! Look at the Oklahoma Bomber - McVeigh served in the first Iraq War and was so angry with his country that he bombed the building. Of course it doesnt excuse what they did!

And I am NO Mundine fan either! Just think sometimes the media filter his stories.

it will be close, a narrow points margin or a draw and a REMATCH will take place .A couple of mates are going and paid $1500 a ticket asked me to go knowing how much i DISLIKE Mundine :swear: deep down i hope GREEN :whip HIM GOOD

Got an invite to see Tom Hitman Hearns to fight Roberto Duran by my merchant banking mates @ Leicester Sq live on CCTV.Turned up just minutes before the fight was to be relayed.When these 2 drunks turn up and start arguing with the guys sitting in front of us ,ie wrong seats -Well Queensbury rules got a throrough working over.Me a steggles chicken ran for cover ,the upshot was they were all evicted! The first two rounds I never saw from memory,and I can't even think who won the fight! Walking out past the bar ,these guys who got evicted are drinking with the guys they beat up-I was stunned! ,so I asked them ,whats changed.Needless to say they were well and truelly cream cracked with beers........and one of them says -we punched in the wrong guys ,we were too drunk to read the correct aisle numbers on the tickets .
Never went again to see anything connected with boxing- till this day I feel safer in an earthquke zone in the Andes or whatever!:ald:

prospector - i watched the today show that morning - stupid wilkins asked him the question - i thought 'what the hell is he gonna contribute - dont ask HIM that' - and of course he uttered words which were analysed to death, led to bans in the u.s. and ....the rest is history.

they should be persecuting stupid wilkins.

but i guess it was like all other 'person in the street' type interviews on whatever topic - they know that 70% of the population are stupid and they'll get the response they want.

green for me. taller, longer reach - has fought much tougher opponents - 4th round.
