What's with Hoods on Jackets?

The origin of hoody culture is in the UK, because they rely on millions of surveillance cameras to do their police work, its important if you're bad to wear a hoody so no one can ID you on camera. And its important if you're not bad to wear a hoody so no one can tell you're not.

Other than that, yeh its just a direct stopy or styled influence, but that's where it comes from.

Another way to get around the CCTV I guess - is we could all wear burqas - or nuns headdress?

Meanwhile, try wearing a balaklava or a bike helmet into a bank - see how far you get

PS How do you solve a problem like Mario ?
lol - If I was a bank teller, and that bloke appeared, I'd press the red button straight away.

And there was the predictable flurry of cries of discrimination against a particular style of clothing. The shopping centre management explained that these kids were using the hoods pulled over their faces to avoid being recognised on the CCTV cameras in order not to be caught for their shoplifting and vandalism.

As a PBG shareholder, I have no issue with crims, surfers, sk8ers, and football hooligans wearing Bonds hoodies ;-)
