Ever wondered how language and words came about and evolved?
I've had a bit of a curiosity about names in particular and since it's that time of year, what about we start off with Santa Claus, or is it Clause.
Thinking about the history of Saint Nicholas and the transition to Santa Claus... didn't the Coca Cola company have a lot to do with that?
Now, just being the devils advocate here, an interesting anagram of the letters Santa Claus gives the antonym... Satan Cauls... with the homophone Satan calls.
We all know Satan, but as best I understand so far a Caul is loosely a cap or covering over the top of the head. Could Cauls be some sort of a metaphor for emotional/spiritual warmth, dependency?
