Today, I met the antithesis of myself

Me, white, straight, middle aged male, right wing (according to most)

Her, anti white (but white), lesbian, millenial feminist , female, a cultural Marxist SJW visiting from Portland Oregon.

Also philosophically opposed with regards my profession.

Yet, we liked each other, there was a plutonic chemistry.

I was baiting her at first, mischievously searching for triggers, but she didn't want to play, so instead searched for common ground, and had a ceacking conversation in the end.

Are we all really so different?

I believe so.

A lot of people dressed up and marched around the city on Saturday morning a few weeks ago. This was the first warning sign.

Men dressed in red suits having their photo taken with young children can be found at suburban shopping centres.

People have placed large numbers of lights in their front yard, on the walls, trees and roof of their house.

Most shops are constantly playing the same small selection of music.

The temperature outside has increased markedly.

The sale of alcohol and turkeys has increased.

All possible signs that the end times are upon us.

Two weeks from now I predict that in selected locations flashes of light and considerable noise will occur at midnight. Large numbers of people will gather to witness this phenomenon. This will be a final confirmation that 2018 has indeed come to an end.

I had first dibs on Starlight from Portland (she didn't tell you about us did she Wayne!!?) and this hairy, hammer bearing .... goes gooey over my girl and has an epiphany. Amazing what a wiff of testosterone does isn't it..
