Bet not many of you out there have heard about the concepts of Individualism or Collectivism. Well, it must be about time for that to change.

Know it all too well unfortunately.

It's a personal one but I'll just say I've spent the past few months pursuing something fairly big (for the people concerned) that would fit in the collectivism category. During that time it has taken up virtually my entire life.

Near total success with it so far. With one exception, everyone's getting what they asked for. Even that one exception has got something, and I'm still trying for them.

Bottom line? Slapped in the face big time by the very same people. The impression I get is that they basically hate me.

So soon I'll be giving the ultimatum. Either you want it and accept that certain things need to happen to get it or alternatively that's it, I'm dropping it for good and don't come back complaining.

Smurf learns from his mistakes and won't be going down this track again any time soon as it's just too hard. You get 95% of what they want, then they start complaining about how it was done and focus on the other 5%.

I should have listened to the person, who works as a manager, who warned me not to do it. As he said, it just makes people unhappy. He was right. Individualism is MUCH easier.
