Victorian Election

Your population has gone crazy to the point of public transport passengers doubling over 10 years Coalitions are infamous for not investing in infrastructure.
Historically yes, although given Labor's mismanagement of the public transport system here and some of the pre-election promises, there has to be some chance of further investment in the coming term.

Ballieu's preferencing of the ALP ovcer the greens shows that, love him or loathe him, he actually will stand by his principles - something that is in desperately short supply in Canberra. I preferenced Labor last as Victoria finally seemed to have a viable alternative leader.

Just one problem. Those words apply as much to Labor and Liberal as they do to the Greens. None of the major parties represents the average person or the overall good of the country / state these days. The last of that breed disappeared 20 years or so ago.

Smurf, I don't often disagree with you, but in this instance I don't really think either Labor or the Coalition is anywhere near as wacky as the Greens, much of whose agenda still has not been brought to the surface.

I'm not saying they're the same or as bad, just that none of them seem to really represent the average person these days.

Look at the issues with infrastructure, decline of manufacturing and so on. I've never had a conversation with anyone who remembers this situation being an announced policy at the time of an election, but it's exactly what the various parties have given us.
