US equity CFDs with Interactive Brokers

I asked IB if Australian residents with cash accounts can trade US Equity CFD they offer and they said yes but the website days NO
Any experience? anybody?
Individual margins?
Do they cross margin if pairs trading!

I have not seen cfd on my IB account.

you could emulate the same thing with options though - - but i guess you know that.

I can see them on my IB paper a/c have not checked in live a/c
Just type in symbol for example MSFT and you will see option to choose CFD or Equity or even a Single stock future!

I take it back - there they are.

i thought SSF were dead in the water ?
