Uncleared funds

Very Good question.

I sold some warrants on the 11th and there are apparently clearing today.

Why does it takes so long??

I thought it was T+3

For traders that trade in and out of a stock, how do they manage this if it takes so long to settle?
Or would it all settle on the one day?

you can trade unsettled funds.

i need the money haha cause i put every cent i had into this company made my money then pulled out.

now i need the cash, my gf's bday is in a few days and i only have $80 in the bank, ohh ****!!!

T+3 working days, sometimes it means 5 calendar days for shares, not sure in case of derivatives (options, warrants)

Did you think of using credit?
After all, you will have money in the bank, just not today.

I would consider this as a mighty good investment. No money means no present which means no gf.... Imagine how much you will save in the long run.

I never thought about that! hmm... I wonder how many times that excuse would work... ;)

Depend how you play it :), I would imagine not too much though :(, but then you could say I lost it in the other share so now im putting it in here, so it seems your risking it all for her present, your hoping to get to her. :)

Umm lets come back to reality.
