Tyco employees

Just curious to know if any ASF members work for Tyco like myself?

I wont say which division of Tyco I work for but I'm just putting an ear out to hear if anyone else working for Tyco was told they wouldn't get a wage review for 2008 due to the economic slowdown blah,blah,blah?

I know our sales department recieved one in about September but Im unsure if the wage freeze has affected any other Tyco divisions around the country.

No one will probably respond, confirmining that im the only fool still working for this tight conglomerate

Hey CK how are you?

Well i had 3 or 4 jobs that I applied for with mining companies respond with "Due to the economic uncertainty the position has been put on hold indefinitely" and now that Rio and others are laying off thier workforce, im kinda thinking I may have been lucky not to get 1 of those jobs.

Also ads for boilermakers have really dropped off (not that i really want to go back to Boilermaking)
I did get to interview stage with Boral recently for a position as a maintenance supervisor but missed out on that one.
So at this stage im stuck where I am but with the current situation going on Im keen more than ever to get out of there and look for better say and conditions.

I might add in regards to my thread,Id be keen to hear from anyone who works for another Tyco company like Wormald,ADT,etc
