The difference is that sort of things comes and goes.There's a pretty long list of social fad trends that have come and gone. They last until they get to an extreme that reveals the ridiculousness of it then society goes back the other way.Versus there's still a bridge in Sydney last I checked. As an actually decent idea nobody's sought to pull it down.The next major war will end a lot of the present ideology. It won't be permanent in my view.
