Yesterday, by happenstance, I stumbled (tautology) upon Channel 9 replaying a show "The Verdict".
.
If Kerry Packer was still alive he could probably make a decent showing of an alternative, after all he gave us a great show in Sunday with Jim Waley. (wonder what happened to Jim ?).
If there ever is anything worthwhile I'll try to find it elsewhere sans advertisements
Or record it and skip through the ads.
Yeah or you could enjoy the adverts between watching The Block where you can marvel at how unqualified, unlicenced amateurs carry out construction works in a compressed time frame, then sell the suspect works at auction ... I find myself trapped into watching this on occasion and prey I can find a plausible excuse to go home.....
..........I actually start talking conspiracy theories to the other Tisme inside my head "I wonder how many tradies actually do the work off camera.....I remember that host, he was the tradie on sites who talked more than he swung his hammer ........ you can't tell me that those contestants haven't got another stream of money to pay for crap they are building into the job ...... where's the plans for council...", inquiring minds need to know
Snap. That happened to me as well, forgot to change the channel.Yesterday, by happenstance, I stumbled (tautology) upon Channel 9 replaying a show "The Verdict"..

Karl Stefanovic's new panel show The Verdict may not be around for long after it only just out-rated afternoon soapie The Bold and the Beautiful.
The second episode of The Verdict was a lacklustre 24th on OzTAM's overnight ratings with only 369,000 viewers - just 9000 more than US soapie The Bold And The Beautiful which was 25th.
It was a long way off top spot which was held down by dating series The Bachelorette with 930,000 people tuning in to watch Sam Frost meet the families of the eligible bachelors.

Not being a commie TV watcher I didn't even know about it until I read a writeup on... the ABC !
Stefanovic was the reason I stopped watching Nine's breakfast show, he's a half-wit, a nobody compared to the guy he replaced, Steve Leibman.
Insight on SBS is the only rival to Q&A in that format.

I had to get a leg wax, the dog ate my homework, my car needed a hand wash in the storm last night and the remote wouldn't work ....did anyone manage to watch last night's episode ..... anti ABC brigade perhaps....... just asking?
