Due to my own diligence, I've noted a discrepancy in my super. My employer is informing me that they've made all contributions up to August, yet my superfund is showing contributions only up to March!!??!!
No worries with this as I'll make sure this is fixed asap...but my question is re: SG contributions from years gone by. Like most, who really cared about super when they were young, so I'd like to know if there is a way to find out if previous employers and funds actually made sure all monies were paid in full before you left.
Is there a body or agency that deals is such inquiries? With funds coming and going and merging, and employees consolidating their super, is it even possible to make sure one hasn't been ripped off?!?!!
