In the age of readily available bogus information where one needs to fact check just about everything one reads, sees or hears, it become apparent that there are several online sites that dispel fact from fiction.
This is an attempt to list those sites but that little voice in the back of my mind keeps repeating, "...but who checks the checkers, monitors the monitors and bias, what bias?"

Here's some to kick off the in-no-particular-order list:

That is a great idea @Craton , I will look up the ones you have listed, but as you say, who checks that those who fact check haven't got their own agenda.
The media is a can of worms, so are organisations that have their own agenda's, that IMO is why if a subject interests you it is important to keep an open mind and listen to both sides of an issue, IMO very few issues are black and white, yet that is how most are presented..

Cheers, too right and regarding critical thinking I’m reminded of this one-liner.
Maybe if we started telling people their brain is an app, they’ll want to use it.
