Hello all,
I'm a US citizen working in Singapore wanting to trade shares on the ASX. I'm currently with Interactive brokers and have already gotten authorization to trade ASX shares. I cant trade SGX equities through IB, only futures. Local equities brokers want to charge an arm and a leg for commission (cheapest I could find is $28 / round trip).
My question is are you limited to a certain number of day trades per day/week on the ASX?
In the US, if you have an account funded with less than $25k you can only make 3 day trades per 5 rolling business days. Are there any rules similar to this? Thanks for the help.
