Scanning Software TA & FA

Would be interested to hear what programs people use for scanning, & general market analysis
I have used or using, the free stuff does not have the parameters i require.

Paid: hubb, stockdoctor & the hated (by some skaffold).
Any views on metastock???

Free: hubb investor limited TA limted FA
pro real time great ta no FA

Would be great if i could run one program. have not found it yet.

To achieve the better range of scanning, it will not be free.

Hubb is too expensive. Its based on Elliott Wave and Fibonacci.(now Optionetics)
Metastock combined with Tradesim for back testing.
BullCharts with Tradesim is easier to use than Metastock.
Go to internet and find review or comparison Metastock versus BullCharts

There is a system called Market Analyser, and they are bringing out sometime new next year in conjunction with IRESS. It is called Market Analyser 7 and there is webinar on January 11 with an overview.

thanks joea always on the look out for opinions on software, i trialled bullcharts the scanning was good the div list was the best i have seen,the Ta package was lacking, plus i reckon it needs an upgrade overall. thanks for info on market analyser will check it out

Yeah joea I pay for scanners now not looking for freebies as they are always lacking, need to run TA & FA scans,

Your trial with BullCharts would have been probably 3.8.6 or lower.
Upgrade 3.8.9 in Beta is currently being tested. The 7 & 8 were only minor upgrades to be released with 9.
MA7 will probably have intraday 20 minute delayed. You could go one month intraday then back to 20 minutes delayed data, depending on what you want.
