Hi,

S&P recently updated their website and it does not appear as though they offer index constituent lists based on date filtering any longer.

Has anyone got around this on the S&P website?

If not, can someone provide advice on where else to turn for (downloadable) ASX and US index constituent lists going back in time?

Is this what you are looking for (above post - sorry it appeared above your question, I copied it from another thread)?

That should provide ASX data for constituents by past dates (back to 2000).

I know where yo coming from wmorton. They provide the top 10 only with the new site. With the S&P/ASX EC they provide no list at all.

Spot on Wysiwig. Looks like they have locked down the site and putting their hand out for a substantial fee to gain access to what was previously free. Typical !! Anyone got any other free sources??
