o = i (as in fictiOn)
ti = sh (also as in ficTIon)
One problem with spelling phonetically is that different accents could cause the same words to be spelt differently.

Well I've always had a problem with the pronunciation of that word. I've always pronounced the 'o' in women the same as in woman, even if dictionaries do say it should be "wimen".ghotib said:It's o = i (as in women)
