Under Interest Paid:

Interest Paid on Long Cash Balances

Interest Paid on Short Sale Proceeds Cash Balances

Under Interest Charged:

Interest Charged on Short Cash Balances

IB pays interest on long balances, and charges interest on short balances, the rate is based on LIBOR benchmark. Therefore, very competitive compared to the other brokers.
