It will hit south of Bowen on current forecast. People in Mackay northern fringes are being evacuated now. Im right on the coast, but Im 12m above the high tide which comes up onto my block. We are all bunkered in the house, as we will feel the full force of the southern side of the cyclone winds.Already tore 2x sheets off the roof of my workshop, but had to leave work to keep going with preparations at home.
