Peter Brock, dead

Well if you watch the Tv and take it as truth you deserve to be on less than 300$ week. This is you ----->

This year’s Bathurst was going to be tribute to life and death of Peter Brock, looks that it might be honoured with human life sacrifice.

I always like most, after race is finished and everybody is in one piece and alive.

But as some say, people do and die for what they love to do.

Ive seen quite a few tastless SMS's doing the rounds lately re: brocky and steve irwin. One I thought is a cracker though.

"Peter Brock died doing what he loved,
Steve Irwin died doing what he loved,
I'm worried about you guys,
FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T PLAY WITH YOURSELVES!"

Apparently they're having a minute silence on the grid and leaving the front row empty.

Yep what is it about respect that these creepy crawly people dont understand. It goes beyond a tall poppy syndrome - it only makes sense if the tall poppy is viewed from the point of view of a weed ( in my humble opinion)

Agree 20/20, Personally I was not a great PB fan cause he appeared not to treat his wife with respect (but I may not know the facts of course), but inconsiderate jokes about the dead seem uneccessary. Just MO. (He was a great driver though!!)

I'll check the wife part out; have a friend that went to his place a few times. Her 'date' knew brocky quite well.

Hi M/M, I think you'll find he had an affair with his wifes best friend, and left his wife for her, but I am only passing that info on from another source......

PS I read something you wrote in another thread which cracked me right up , but I cant remember where it was now.........I enjoy GSOH, Cheers Barney.

You should all show some respect and stop talking crap about the dead.....take a good look in the mirror.....that's one thing I give the aborigionals they never speak of the dead......RESPECT.

Had lunch and a beer at the spot the other week....a good time for relection with a couple of mates.......the legend still lives on, in our hearts......onya mate!

Brock was great at his sport, but I never quite got over the fact he kicked out the drivers of the second car at Bathurst when his car blew up.
Those poor bastards worked hard to just get a drive on the mountain then the "man" took their drive part way through the race.

I'm not being derogitory, just remembering...

Cheers,

Looking for formats, formations, coincidences and correlations in Stock Market, cannot escape thought, that until the next year’s fatality free race, there will be lingering thought of Brock’s Curse.

Great to see Craig Lowndes win (even if he was in a Ford). The most fitting winner as he was Brock's protege, also the most destraught at Brock's passing (outwardly anyway). Nice guy to boot.
