WASHINGTON (CNN) -- American fighter jets intercepted two Russian bombers, one of which buzzed a U.S. aircraft carrier in the western Pacific over the weekend, U.S. military officials told CNN Monday.

American airspace?

I don't think so.

If you look at the globe, the area concerned is stone's throw from the Russian coast, but thousands of kilometers from the United States. But the Americans seem to think they own the entire world anyway.
